APS 4/5 Equivalent Graphic Designer
Our client is seeking an experienced APS 4/5 (equivalent) Graphic Designer for a period of 11 months.
The role will include:
· Conceptualising, designing and desktop publishing a range of departmental publications including brochures, book covers, books, advertisements, stationery, newsletters, promotional materials, and posters.
· Preparing artwork for printing, scan and manipulate images, undertake proof-reading and other quality assurance processes for pre-press and electronic publishing work undertaken by the office.
· Sourcing photographs and creating illustrations and other graphics for publications, as required.
· Preparing graphics and other illustrations for the department website and the departmental intranet, as required.
Previous experience using industry standard graphic arts software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator) and Adobe Acrobat is essential.
Previous experience in a public sector environment will be highly regarded.
