We have a number of temporary vacancies for people experienced in the public affairs/web/communications fields. Duties will be wide-ranging and may include (depending on the level of the position) : developing and implementing communication strategies, managing contracts with external contractors, developing a tender for new architecture, website publishing of articles and publications and assisting with co-ordination of public affairs work across the department. Demonstrated experience in a public affairs/web/communications unit are essential. Knowledge of web standards and an understanding of HTML and CSS and use of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Flash and Dreamweaver software would be highly desirable. Positions are to commence asap in the new year and are available until 30 June 2010.
